Given the circumstances - working and drafting at the same time - did OK with only 7 picks. Got off to a good start with McClanahan and Keibert Ruiz. Beer and Mauricio at 49 and 50 might have been taken a little too early. Did little to improve a weak (except for Lindor) MI combination.

This, of course, is assuming Suzuki signs with an MLB team. Picking up Tim Anderson and Taillon in pre-draft trades was shrewd. Yepez should be on my team. IMO Joe Barlow went early. With age/injury concerns, maybe should have picked up another SP or two. Without a doubt, the team to beat in the Connecticut Woods division.
CHICAGO. C+
Didn’t do much to improve team for 2022. Josh Lowe and Pratto were on a lot of teams wish list. Best move was picking Finnegan to pair with Rainey. Not sure how the commish will be able to keep even half of the 10 prospects he has on his roster post-draft.
COLORADO C
Hard to assess this draft because, except for 3B, team doesn’t seem to be much improved. Edward Cabrera, Kaprillian and Toro were the best picks. Picking up Belt pre-draft was important.

I’m sure the mouth of the south will say he got the players he wanted, Being two hours from Miami, I was hoping to get Jesus Sánchez. Taking a high school player at #25 is a joke. Stop trying to prove you’re smarter than us, Mike. You could have gotten him with pick 91 ( or 120 for that matter)
HARLEM A
Did a nice job strengthening weak areas (RP, OF, CF). Three closers is a pretty safe bet now. Picked up five good arms for the rotation. Only questionable pick is the one I made.
INDIANA. B-
Solid draft for the champ but lots of questions. Adolis García fills a need, but which version are we going to see? Can Baddoo build on last season? Did not address holes in the pen. Did Bill forget we use 4 RP now? I expected one of the Yankee SS prospects to end up here.
LOUISIANA. C
Got everyone’s “man-crush” Camilo Doval and some decent arms for the rotation but failed to improve on a weak OF/CF combination.
My favorite pick was Ranger Suarez at 29.
MATAWAN. B
Seemed to get most of the guys he had targeted although Smalls at 42 seems like a big reach. Kitteridge/ Fairbanks tandem was a good get. Will it be enough to make the playoffs for the first time in a LOOOOONNNNNGGGGG time? Only time will tell…
MORRIS COUNTY. C+
Did OK cobbling together a bullpen out of nothing. Picking up Stratton in eight to back up Bednar was key. Wade and Joe could help strengthen a weak OF. Best picks very well could turn out to be Volpe and Carroll.
TOPEKA. B
Goal going in was to get 5 or 6 solid SP in rotation, 3 RP with closer possibilities, couple OFs and one of the top 3 C prospects (Ruiz, Melendez, or Moreno) to replace Yadi. Mission accomplished
