NL pitchers will have one tougher player to get out every 9 AB's so the playing field will be the same for all pitchers from here on out which is a good thing. We will miss some of the good pitchers hitting but that was few and far between so be gone with that.

If an AL player cannot play an actual position and only DH, that's where he should stay. Better defense will be played in the field instead, which is a welcome sight to see in the MLB. Be gone with that minimal position eligibility for those players that don't deserve it any.

Not much of a challenge for the 2022 CJIBL season with this rule change. Have depth of players that aren't DH types and all will be well.
