This year's Trooping The Colour will take place on Saturday 17 June. King Edward VII had Trooping the Colour in either May or June, because of the vagaries of British weather. Like King Charles, King Edward's actual birthday was in November. However, since 1959, it has been held on a Saturday in June. I think it will be highly unlikely that the King will decide to change anything.
We look to Scotland for all our ideas of civilisation.
