There were the Demise Honours issued in Mar 2023. All RVO appointments and upgrades , at the discretion of the Monarch. My guess is we wait for the Birthsay Honours out soon and see if the RVO is continued? I can't see Charles III letting going of that order, and don't forget the Garter and the Thistle are awarded solely at the monarch's discretion .
I think these traditions of last century went missing on coronation day so as not to detract from the public focus of the coronation ceremony which was service - service by the King and by the guests. [Privately for the King I think it was his consecration, hence the screens.]
The dress of the (working) Royals was subdued by Garter, Thistle and RVO robes. On the day, all attention was to be on the King and Queen. Nobody else was to be in finery of ermine robes, trains, coronets, grand jewels, decorations, and with attendant pages (attendance numbers were so restricted).
I'm beginning to wonder if the King might have a new medal in mind (or perhaps an Order with no more insignia than a badge) for the King and Queen to award to people to acknowledge remarkable service to the people of the UK and elsewhere. And I'm wondering if in this reign we will see awards of any traditional honours in the gift of the Sovereign.
Other traditional honours would continue to be awarded by the Government, I expect, as we have seen so far for the coronation medals.
Communication seemed a bit divided. There were two coronation websites - royal.uk and gov.uk
