Yes very strange indeed. I never understand why representatives of 3 or 4 defunct royal houses are still given such high honours at these events. With all due respect to their work, these people are all heirs to something long gone and it won't return. The former king of the Hellenes publicly stated he does not claim the throne of Greece any longer so why is his son Pavlos still referred to as a crown prince? If the role of King is abolished, there's also no crown prince! Same goes for Alexander and Margarita. It makes no sense at all. They were only invited because they are somewhat 'closer' related to and friends of QEII/KCIII otherwise the same honour should have fallen on the heads of the other great Royal Houses like the Romanovs, Habsburgs, Hohenzollerns, Bourbons...

Interesting to see that the heads of the non-ruling dynasties from Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia and Greece were given precedence over the heirs to the thrones of Japan, Denmark and Norway.
