It seems to me her views on transparency, accountability and modernisation might differ a bit from her brother and nephew. Apparently her 'rhythm' has or will be changed (poor thing!) because of her brother's ascension to the throne and she also does not ask too many questions...
The interview is fascinating and the Princess is, as always, a class act.
The Princess does seem, however, to reveal important differences between her and The King, eg. on the significance of the monarchy's historic links with slavery and the issue of 'slimming' the monarchy. From her recent actions, it appears that she also disagrees with The King regarding his treatment of Lady Susan Hussey and, possibly, of the Duke of York. These factors lead me to wonder whether there are important differences emerging among the senior royals following the deaths of the D o E and The Queen.
In this context, I was particularly startled to hear her claim, in reference to The Queen's death (beginning at 2.37), "For my brother, this is something he's been waiting for". Given how carefully she chose her words during the rest of the interview, I am left wondering why she said this. She could have said, instead, “For my brother, this is something he's been preparing for".
