Four Garter knights are traditionally part of the coronation, carrying the canopy during parts of the ceremony. It is not known if this will be continued, but many of the existing knights are getting old for this, and if the tradition is continued I suspect some of the new knights will be included.
The existing knights and ladies are listed here:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_current_Knights_and_Ladies_of_the_Garter
There are some offices in which holders have traditionally been appointed to the Garter or Thistle upon leaving office, and I analyzed possible candidates last year:

My guess for possible candidates now are:
- the former Lord Chamberlain (Earl Peel)
- former Prime Minister David Cameron
- one of the former Presidents of the Supreme Court (Lord Neuberger of Abbotsbury or Lady Hale of Richmond)
- one or two of the former Chiefs of the Defence staff (Lord Guthrie of Craigiebank and Lord Walker of Aldringham)
- the Duke of Devonshire (former HMs representative at Ascot)
I suspect there could also be a Welsh appointment, but am unable to find an obvious candidate unless one of the former First Ministers are included.
