Thank you for this news, which was very meaningful to me personally as my paternal ancestors were Yorkshiremen albeit long ago. I've actually never visited the county in all the years I lived in England, and only discovered the paternal ancestry in relaltively recent years, so I'm making a point of journeying up there on my next UK visit. York Minster seems an astounding landmark, but there is much else about the cultural, economic and natural circumstances of the county in the 18th-19th century that intrigues me personally.
