Whatever you are willing to do for this student, you have to be willing to do for every student. We have auditions and if they don't make it and refuse to play something else, then that is their choice. But if I make an allowance for one it is for all. I don't want to end up with 30 percussionists like it was when I took over. When I got here there were 15 percussion and 2 of everything else.
