They’re putting together a paid committee to go over/update/align the state curriculum standards for fine arts (which includes band). If anyone feels like they would want to participate in this endeavor, they should follow the link and submit their application. Obviously, we’d all like to have actual teachers with experience and expertise in best practices…. Being the ones who decide what the state curriculum and standards should be.
