Got a call from my principal this morning asking us to perform our half time show at next weeks pep rally. The coach wants to have the pep rally at the field next week (for other reasons). With admin and coaches talking about it, it was suggested that since the band has contest that weekend we get the opportunity to perform it for the student population during pep rally at the field.

I feel honored that they recognize our band has improved and is competitive in what we do.

I also think of it as another chance for the pressure to be on the kids to perform at their best before we go to contest.
