Your second statement is ONE of fifteen descriptors on the sheets. It alone shouldn't determine a rating.

In the situation described by the OP, the rating should have been a 1.

How would you feel if your point totals at area marching contest based upon the sheet added up to an 850, but the judge instead wrote down a 700 for your total? It's the same as what happened to the OP.
