I am currently in my first job, looking to move to my next one in a different district for next school year. I've heard that you are supposed to notify your admin & team before submitting any applications, but I am afraid if I do that I may lose an opportunity to get a renewal contract just in case.

I know you can't have your cake and eat it too but I seriously don't know what to do. I am new to my area and I don't have many local contacts so I need my admin to give a good reference
