There is no overlap since it would be for different school years. We are contract employees. Therefore, unless the times overlap, we can have multiple signed contracts.

Get a salary quote or walk. Get it in writing.

Now, if you are transferring, then you will need to be released but that doesn't mean they can't give you a quote. They may just want the exact start date so they can run the numbers based on the days left in the contract year.
