I would never quit a current job without knowing the salary of the new job. Do the math. Look at your years of experience on their scale. Ask if there is a stipend. They can tell you that. Usually the salary schedule they posted will have stipends too. ASk if there are extra days as well. Usually you can tell the ballpark from that.
