In the early 70s West Texas A&M was an invited group at TMEA. They gave a tight performance of Rocky Point Holiday which isn’t tuba centric, but they also put forward a tuba soloist who performed a rendition of flight of the bumblebee. Another possibility is the theme from the Green Hornet, which is a variation on FotBB. That could probably be performed by the section in unison.
