Parents can tell the school that they do not want their child taken out of band. I would think about that option. And you might ask the principal exactly how you are supposed to catch them up. Does he have any curriculum that catches up students with that many being gone for that long? I think parents who have bought an instrument find out that their child is not being thought that subject might be pretty angry. Just sayin’.
