You've been provided with the opportunity to educate yourself, if this is a strawman you wish to continue to prop up. There are plenty of "questionable" composers and songs that are being removed - but refusing to do good in one instance because you can't do good in every single instance isn't moral, it's justifying evil.
The consistent false equivalency is akin to refusing to stop an assault on a student because you can't stop every assault on every student. Is that just or moral? Obviously not.
Change what you can change. Stop giving Gary Glitter money. If you feel it necessary to go beyond that, and remove dozens of other "questionable" (or actually questionable) composers, then do so - but don't say one has to change everything and fix everything in order to fix one thing.
