The Mary L got out yesterday.. We had some wide ground swells that ran perpendicular to the current and wind making for a less than comfortable day, especially if that type of motion makes you sick.... We visited the Northwest Barges first and were greeted with surprising visibility. Normally those swells really churn up the bottom. We had about 25' vis and a warm 70 degree bottom temp. Despite the pleasant conditions not much came back for the cooler. 1 bug and 1 small tog. Divers Beware!!! The gill net is still on this wreck and can be a very big hazard if you are not careful! We heard some good fluke reports further south and a bit offshore so we moved to the Range wreck. Similar bottom conditions. We brought back a few more lobsters, tog, and trigger fish. Once these swells drop off we should have some really fine dive conditions. I'm looking forward to the best part of the dive season!
