Sue fron the dive team found one of these a few years ago at the high lands, and did a pretty ggod job of cleaning it up.
Start with fresh water baths for a few weeks. Changing the water everyday. Follow this with baths of 50/50 white vineger and water. Changing the bath everyday.
Clean the watch with a tooth brush between each bath, if you can heat the bath this will help speed thing up alittle. Don't use a wire brush!!
You may not save the whole watch cause the pins that hold the gears are made of steel, and the arms of the face are made of steel too!
