I remember the 200th birthday because I was in junior high at the time. Social Studies teacher planned a 200th birthday party in junior high school (a few months before the actual July 4th celebration because there was no school during summer, naturally). Parades and the fireworks display on July 4th itself or around that date.
I read several magazines back then and I recall the 'Seventeen' magazine on the magazine racks (either at school or at the library or at a store) but I did not read "Seventeen" magazines, though. Just flip through such magazines quickly and that's it. I preferred other types of magazines at the time. 
So I do not have a "Seventeen" magazine with Susan Ford in it.
I believe in addition to Susan still living at the White House with her parents, her brother Steven was. Their other siblings did not live there with their parents.
