That's the latest weather for my immediate area starting Monday night for a long cold week ahead. No actual lows below z8a. Windchills,not much at all. could be a skiff of snow around. Need some advice:. Using, mulch, minis, tarp. * Should I wrap with frost cloth then put tarp back? I have rolls of frost cloth. I would let it ride but this duration is concerning. Thanks.

Looks like temps in low to mid twenties for next ten days here, possibly falling into teens. No freezing precipitation, hopefully. II don’t plan on protecting anything here. Highs here in 40’s and one in 50’s and one day not getting out of 40”s. Long cold spell for sure, but doesn’t sound as bad as those vortex years. It is 24 today with high of 46 predicted. Are they predicting ice for you? I hope it doesn’t get as bad as predicted everywhere.

We see more damage from back and forth between single digits and sunny warmth than we do when well below freezing for a couple months. But the sun is damaging and hard to find winter shade gives more protection.

Rainy then sleet and icy rain with snow for Sunday morning - warming to just rain tomorrow night then back to snow by Monday am.The rest of late Monday into next week looks clear and cold, one night at 14* mostly upper teens for lows and mid-upper 20*s high and then a big snow maybe by next Friday, sounds like January. The best part, after this crap gets out of here, the lower 48 warms up again. So they say. Thanks Fred - except for duration of cold, its not what they were reporting for sometime. Some areas will have a go of it northward and hoping they do well.

Today is my only abouve freezing day or no precip so I might give a 2x wrap of cloth under that tarp. Weather is a little hard to pin point exactly here. Lloyd appreciate your reply a lot. Ta,Thanks

Churches already shutting down and with snow back overnight Sunday, schools will too. Since today is my only window day, I might wrap some. You are warmer than here.
