They say it’s gonna get really bad here 6 to 8 inches of rain total and wind gust to 70 miles an hour and someplace more than that. They said possibly even some places get 7o to 90 not out of the question!, but I don’t know about that , but anyway, it’s gonna do some damage around with trees. I’m sure glad I cut our big trees in the back down last year cause I would’ve worried big time . They would’ve probably come down the way they were split . Anyway, thanks . Wor I hope y’all are staying safe up there. If you were down here you could get out and put some of these electric lines back together. That’s gonna come down!

Florida,Georgia,South Carolina and Western North Carolina has suffered from nonstop tropical downpours and flooding. Those states have been hit hard. The entire state of Tennessee is under a flood advisory along with many areas of Southern Kentucky. We have been getting outer bands of rain and received 3" overnight. I got 2.5" of rain since this week from another system. Thats 5.5 " so far. That system dropped 10" of rain in Western NC and now they have the hurricane. Drainage off some of the tallest mountains in the Eastern USA has caused horrible flooding. Expecting winds here at 40 to 50 mph later today and tonight with heavy rains as the storm has not hit here yet and should be entering SE Tennessee soon. Nashville has been hit hard by these outer bands. It should fizzle out by Monday. Jason, Tennessee has been in a severe drought and surely this will help. Nashville has power outages and I hope we are sparred. A good lineman is a popular item in the south this weekend. Glad your and your family are safe. We will make it ok.

We got a little wind and some rain. Nothing major this time. There are several Co-ops heading your way. We did not send anyone. I know of one in North Jersey and the Cape Hatteras Co-op in N.C. are sending help.

A few moments ago my weather radio reported over 4.5 million in the SE still in the dark, across 5 states. Those linemen sure have their work cut out for them. We appreciate them and love them in my part of the world. Thank you Friend, unless a tornado fires up, we are good in my area.
