Last month, I posted, informing that cool-season veggie starts I began indoors, in February, had been set out. Progress has been made, despite a low of 28 degrees, a few weeks back. All of these can take a light freeze, and still thrive. I am using the "square foot method". Although this bed is only about 4' x 7' (28 sq. ft.), a significant amount of food can come it. Pictured are: Swiss chard, beets, lettuce, celery, collards, and green peas (the peas were direct-sown):

The JAPANESE MARIGOLD BUSH, Kerria japonica 'Pleniflora', is blooming! It kinda reminds me of the Lady Banks Rose (even though this once produces sporadic blooms, all season long):
