I recall reading somewhere that this palm has never
been found in the "wild" and was developed
in Japan or Korea cant recall which,probably
Japan and was bread for its smaller more stout
leaves...it has always been one of my favorite
Trachys and I always found it to be very tough
and cold hardy besides being a absolutely gorgeous
palm!
