While out in my yard, I saw my first mosquitos of the season...a couple weeks early, even after a winter of a longer duration cold, than last year.
Fred, they WERE flower buds, and after a few weeks, the buds are open. Does anyone remember what this plant is? I didn't know they would take this long to open. I thought this southern native would bloom, here, in April. We are nearly the middle of May...
