You are correct! It is Carolina jasmine. Mine is the newer, hardier cultivar, known as 'Margarita'. I don't know why she seems lighter in color. Perhaps, the season of bloom? Flowers often are lighter, or deeper in color, depending on temperature. Those in the South, tend to bloom, in winter, while temps are cooler, and maybe, also the sun angle is lower.
I looked up Euphorbia myrsinites, and it is hardy down to z4. So, it is very hardy. Leaves look like a type of glaucous (bluish) Sedum, and more succulent-like.
I love Primrose, as well. There are a number of species. Some less hardy, than others. Some tolerate summer heat, less than others.
Pink Flowering Almond tends to bloom here, late April to early May. These are potted (got 'em last year), and somewhat shaded, now that leaves have developed on the big silver maples, in my yard.
Fred, I tend to believe more people are visiting this board, but merely reading, and observing, but not actively participating as much, as before. I wouldn't be surprised if some former regulars, from the "big board", lurk around here, as well.
