Jason I don't think I will see lots of snow or ice events but I'm confident my z7a wont stand this year. My z7a stands at plus 1* anyways.
So far I've fallen to 17*.
So I'm thinking z6b cold (at best) for a few days . I'm thinking of modifying more wrappings because it might get worse. Cold is the word here 
Always treat every winter with caution. Im a firm believer trachycarpus does not get hardier year after year. I've seen and heard of big ones failing through the decades. If we can believe anything from the NWS, let hope for their call of an early spring.
