- NEW PLANT -
Last week, I posted a pic of another plant of this type, I recently got. The previous is a much larger 3 gallon size. This is another yellow sapote or CANISTEL, Pouteria campechiana. They are also called Egg Fruits, because the flesh inside the fruits can have the consistency of boiled egg yolks, but the flavor is on the sweet side. The plant on the left, got "lost in the mail", and although it eventually arrived, it was dead, upon arrival. The replaced plant on the right is much healthier....
