Currently in bloom here are, Roses, Musa, Clematis, Texas Esperanza, Cosmos, Vinca, Impatiens, Hydrangea, Marigold, Mums, Asters, Flowering Cabbage and Kale and unfortunately Carolina Jessamine (native) is beginning to bloom.
Mowed the yard yesterday and hopefully not again until spring and I cut down dozens of Musa Basjoo. I left a few dozen standing because not seeing anything under 32* and they are normally hardy to 28* for 3-4 hours (experimenting) I'd like to keep them in control in 2025. Hope everyone has most of their yard work out of the way. I'm such a procrastinator and don't understand the term, timely manner. Have a great week friends.
