It's time for the hardy CONFEDERATE ROSE to bloom! Actually, this form is a hybrid of our familiar Rose of Sharon, H. syriacus with Hibiscus paramutabilis. The hybrid is a much hardier plant. The blooms are larger than Rose of Sharon, too! The cultivar of this one is 'Lohengrin' :

The NIGHT JASMINE, Cestrum nocturnum, is is FULL BLOOM! If you have never gotten a whiff of the scent that emanates, from these blooms, then you have missed a treat for the nose. The scent is exquisite!
