You're right about perennials being cheaper, over time, than having to buy annuals every year. I used to plant alot more annuals, in the ground every year. Gradually, perennials have filled up alot more of my yard, than annuals. Most of my annuals are now just in containers.

The Cutleaf Rudbeckia does resemble a double Coreopsis flower, ONLY LARGER, though. These Rudbeckia blooms are a good 3-4 inches across.

I have 5 Rose of Sharons. Each of a different color. Two have begun blooming so far. The others are getting real close. The tropical Hibiscus complements the hardy ones.
