Having the power go out is also my biggest fear in the winter. We are having a very cold and snowy winter. I can always find a way to stay warm but I worry about my 7 birds if the heat is off for a long time. So far, very few power outages this year. About 5 or 6 years ago my power was out for several days. My birds and I were able to go to my sister' home. Hope the power stays on for you.
