The first is a Red-Shouldered Hawk


And the second is a baby Barred Owl


Both were taken at my apartment complex. Amazing how much wildlife one sees. When I lived in the woods, I didn't ever see an owl, or a raccoon, or much of anything beyond small birds, snakes and insects... Here in the I see so much more!
