This Med was bought at a small size from Zone 8 Gardens in Wilmington, NC. Now it is displaying 3 trunks. It has benefitted from my neighbor removing a giant oak 3 years ago - thus bringing in a lot more sunshine:

The other Med was transplanted about 5 years ago to facilitate a home addition. Gets more light now that it is away from the house. Originally got it as a small palm from Woodley’s Nursery in Columbia, SC. I’ve been training it as a single trunk specimen:
I really hope that they will be hardier now that they are bigger. As juveniles, they disliked most of our winters (and their shady summer environments) and really didn’t really grow much in their first 12 to 15 years.
