I know what you mean by the blue color of Sabal fronds.
I had a Brazoria Sabal that had no blue in it at all. It was pea soup green. But my Minors, Palmetto, and Birmingham show various amounts of blue. Mostly, though, I would say my Sabals are half green and half slate gray.
