My previous Washy fillifera was poorly protected during that 8 day below 32F period 3 winters ago . That one period Gary of Gary's Nursery said was a one in a hundred year type of event . I had 2 7F's for lows during that cold spell and days that got to 26Fish for highs and other lows 12Fish .
I easily could've protected it better and if I had It would be huge now and would not have needed protection the last 2 winters .
I have a Ficus tree in the house that I keep at a certain size due to the constraints of the pot size .
Ten year lows: 15F 19F 20F 5F 4F 15F 7F 8F 14F 19F(2020)
10 Year Average Winter Lowest Low 12.6F ; 30 Year 12.16F
