King Juan Carlos is not allowed to attend. Political reasons. So it was “decided” no grandparent (maternal and paternal) will attend. Only to the family reception at El Pardo palace.
Some sources say it was King Juan Carlos who said, if he was going, no other relative would attend. Or maybe it was the palace who took the decision.
King Juan Carlos will not even be allowed to stay at Zarzuela tomorrow night. It was published he refused to stay at another place and will leave Madrid after the party. The last news I have read is that he has booked a room in London. We will see.
