Reason for Sofia's decision?

Is anything known why Sofia declined to attend? It's clear she is a proud grandmother so why not attend this important ceremony that is part of something Sofia worked and sacrificed for so many years.

Is anything known about potential issues around her living arrangements in both Zarzuela palace and Marivent Palace?
