The Royal Treasure Museum will open on June 1st at last.
It will be lodged at the hideous new wing of the Ajuda Palace and will display not only the Crown Jewels of the Royal Family but other private jewels, royal robes, paintings, etc.
This month, a few days before the Museums Day (on May 18th) I called the Ajuda Palace and asked about the opening of the Royal Treasure Museum and a very nice lady told me there were no news yet.
Now we had the comfirmation.
Newspaper Expresso will have a special edition on the Museum this weekend.
Looking forward for the visit.
