Forgive me for “hijacking” this post, but do we know where Juan Carlos and Sofía will be buried? And extending that further, Felipe VI and Letizia, etc.? There are still spaces in the Pantheon of the Infantes at El Escorial, however would Monarchs be buried there; will they rest in the pudridero if that’s not needed for a burial?

Just curious because we’ve seen in the Netherlands the crypt in Delft extended for future burials, for example, but I’ve not heard anything about Spain.
