So unless Jean-Christophe and Olympia have sons the line either ends or requires a change to allow female succession.

He decided to change his name.
In an interview in PdV he claims once again his republicanism and (after all these years ) realises that the family name is Bonaparte and not Napoléon, so he decided to change it.
So, goodbye Charles Napoléon, hello Charles Bonaparte.
Are there today any more dynasts than his son Jean-Christophe?
