Although the House was officially known as of Bragança-Saxe-Coburg-Gotha (portuguese version), it was usually reduced for Bragança, like the Habsburgs or the Romanovs.
And though they hyphenated the House name, they didn't always hyphenated their names:
F.i. the full name of King D.Carlos was Carlos Fernando Luís Maria Victor Miguel Rafael Gabriel Gonzaga Xavier Francisco de Assis José Simão de Bragança Sabóia Bourbon e Saxe-Coburgo-Gotha.
For his brother Infante D.Afonso the "de Bourbon" surname was dropped and he was just de Bragança Sabóia e Saxe-Coburgo-Gota.
D.Manuel was named Manuel Maria Filipe Carlos Amélio Luís Miguel Rafael Gabriel Gonzaga Xavier Francisco de Assis Eugénio de Saxe-Coburgo-Gotha e Bragança.
Oddly neither him nor his brother carried the Orléans surname, knowing that in Portugal one usually carries both parents' surnames.
