Yes, since Beatrice refused to convert to catholicism, Alfonso XIII imposed the couple an exile from 1909 (date of marriage) until 1912, date when he reconsidered and Alfonso regained his style as Infante .
This is the Maria Cristina/Maurits couple I meant:
Maria Cristina Alfonsa Francisca de Asis Sebastiana Isabel de Borbón (Madrid 10 Nov 1886-Madrid 14 Dec 1985); m.Madrid 14 Apr 1921 Maurits Willem Raedinck van Vollenhoven (Haarlem 25 Nov 1882-Madrid 29 May 1976)
from P.Theroff An Online Gotha
However, Beatrice did eventually convert to Catholicism (if nothing else, she consented to have her children brought up in the faith), and the king did eventually approve the marriage. I'm not sure about the exact order.
This was one of several noteworthy cases in European royal history where an equal marriage initially disapproved, for some reason or another (personal, political), was granted dynastic recognition later on. Other examples coming to mind would be Grand Duke Kirill Vladimirovich of Russia and Princess Victoria Melita ("Ducky") of Edinburgh, Saxe-Coburg and Gotha; Gaston and Marguerite in France (this was in the distant past, so I don't know their exact titles).
