In 1990 then Prince Albert was Regent for about 1 day for his brother Baudouin because of the abortion law.

In Denmark a member of the royal family must stay in the country while the sovereign is abroad.
I guess Prince Frederik or Pss Benedikte may have acted as regents for 2-3 days during Q.Margreth II reign when she was out of the country.
