She was again appointed regent for the new monarch: their 10 year old daughter and remained so until august 31st 1898. However her first regency was only for three days.
Once Wilhelmina and Hendrik had Juliana it was once again Emma as Queen-mother who was appointed as the regent in case Wilhelmina was to die before the 18th birthday of her granddaughter.

I understand that Prince Albert II of Monaco served as regent for his father, Prince Rainier III, for less than a week before formally ascending the throne as sovereign. But I don't know if that six-day regency was the shortest in royal history ...
