The question is: was there, or was there not, a renunciation of rights for the Greek royals?
On 12 September 1863, King George I and his father, the later Christian IX, signed a legal document that changed the order of succession to the Danish throne, so that George and his male line descendants were placed after Valdemar and his male line descendants - and also after any yet unborn sons of Christian (IX) and their male line descendants. The press wrote that the document would later also be signed by Princess Louise, Prince Frederik and eventually King Frederik VII. However, I don't know if Frederik VII actually did sign before he died two months later.
