Margaret Tudor, oldest daughter of Henry VII and Elizabeth of York married three times as did her granddaughter Mary queen of Scots.
Not a royal but nearly the grandmother of the Queen of England had Arbella succeeded Elizabeth I, Bess of Hardwick married 4 times.
Some time ago, I posted about kings who were second husbands to women: there have actually been numerous examples. I would imagine that there are far fewer examples of king who were third husbands; but such persons have existed.
King Henry VIII of England, for instance, was the third of four husbands of Catherine Parr, the last of his six wives (the one who survived him). King Ernest Augustus of Hanover was the third husband of his first cousin, born Princess Friederike of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. And I believe somebody claimed that Queen Maria II of Portugal was actually married three times, not just twice.
Are there additional examples?
