My guess as to why Bushman would leave Jake to the loonies (besides the obvious reason of Hurwitz drawing out the story) is that Raoul knew the crazies couldn't beat MK and wanted to toy with Jake a little longer before taking him out. He couldn't have planned for Jake running off the save the building and, once it happened, I figure he wasn't interested in killing a Moon Knight who couldn't fight back. I think Bushman enjoys testing himself against Moon Knight and it wouldn't satisfy him to kill the guy without a real fight. That's just how I'm choosing to read it since it's committed to page now and there's no way to go back and change it.
I'd also like to see more of MK's old team. Marlene is a capable fighter and a decent snoop so it'd be cool to see her drawn back into Moon Knight's missions. She's been shown to be attracted to adventure and Huston's arc commented on her killer instinct. She could turn out to be a useful contact for the Secret Avengers, but I'd rather see MK get his own series again with Marlene, Ray, etc. backing him up.
Herman the German, The Great Wall, Scarecrow and Slug were all just there to have their butts kicked. Herman and The Great Wall, as far as I can tell, seem to be part of a long tradition of giving a goon a name so they can sound a little more intimidating than the rest of the mooks surrounding them. Maybe we'll see them again making a cameo in another book (see the Zapata Brothers,) but we probably won't see very much of them (Herman the German was apparently in an issue of The Punisher at some point.) Scarecrow and Slug have been around for a long time. Scarecrow started as an enemy of Iron Man (seriously) and later showed up fighting Ghost Rider and gaining supernatural powers (which, I believe, he has since lost.) Slug started out as a foe of Spider-Man and Captain America and an associate of the Kingpin but he's never been very popular so he's become a jobber, the sort of villain who shows up occasionally to put on a big show and then have his butt kicked by a seemingly inferior opponent (see The Wrecking Crew.)
I've been wanting to see Crossfire show up since his brief flashback appearance during Huston's run, but it looks like Marvel has decided he's going to be Hawkeye's archenemy. Jason Macendale would be cool too, but I think he's going to remain a Spider-Man rogue. Hobgoblin is due to make a comeback soon, but they haven't revealed who is wearing the mask. Nimrod Strange blew himself up but Arsenal II from the Marc Spector run was kind of a chump so I'd rather see Strange return with a new suit if they bring Arsenal back. Sharp fell on a sword (ironic?) and died, but Zaran, a Shang Chi foe, could turn up in the upcoming Secret Avengers arc involving Shang Chi and his evil father who frequently hired Zaran.
