Regretfully, I must cancel my registration for the upcoming Jouett Reunion. My wife's having surgery the first week of August and I'm going to stay home to help her get back on her feet.
Will miss poking fun at all you guys then just keeping quite with a grin on my face while you poke fun at me. And those sea stories I'll miss out on are probably good ones. And there's a good one you'll miss out on from my second tour aboard Jouett in 1974 regarding the Mickey Mouse pins I used in place of my CPO ones. LT Don Milligan, Jouett's Fire Control Officer then (ex FTM1 I was stationed with at Great Lakes NTC, bless his departed soul) would shout with joy if he could hear that incident's story again.
